We know all these "Top 100 Restaurants to Eat at Before you Die" and "Top 67 Gelato Places in New York City" and "Worst 25 Items on Supermarket Shelves" can be a little overkill, but we thought this recent one on the "50 Best Things to Eat in the World and Where to Eat Them" in the Guardian deserved mention.
It's like a mini-United Nations food tour of the world, which makes it fun to read and wax about planning your next trip to, say, southern India for vegetarian food or Spain for pork. It also names pleasantly unexpected things like aubergines with whipped cream and Algerian grilled fish on the list.
What we're most wanting? The Mexico City tacos (#21), the Peruvian ceviche (#46), the Spanish ham (#39), and the Texas barbecue (#10). Y tu?
