Great River Road Wine Trail hosts local food and wine weekend
Looking for a weekend getaway idea? The Great River Road Wine Trail is hosting a three-day Local Foods-Local Wine Weekend on June 3-5, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
The Great River Road Wine Trail consists of 10 wineries near the Mississippi River in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, and they'll feature their wines and ciders paired with local foods, some hosting live musicians.
Tickets cost $20 per person, and include a wine trail glass and six-bottle wine tote. They can be purchased at each winery or online.
Designated drivers will receive free admission and food, but no wine tasting.
