Glow-in-the-dark Gin & Tonic Jell-O?
If you really want to wow your guests at an upcoming holiday party, how about serving a Jell-O salad that'll knock Grandma's socks off: one that glows in the dark. The arty British food-design group Bompas & Parr worked with a chemist to make Jell-O with tonic water--the quinine absorbs UV light from "black lights" in the service area and then re-emits a bluish light as if the Jell-O is glowing in the dark.
