Gastro Non Grata Nordeast Edition: A Goulash of Good Times
Gastro expands to a two-day affair!
Gastro Non Grata
Gastro Non Grata has proved so successful that it's holding a two-day food and music extravaganza this weekend to benefit the Ritz Theater in NE Minneapolis.
The November 12 show features chef Philip Becht (Modern Café) and Steven Brown (chef/owner of soon to be Tilia) pairing foods with Crispin Cider. DJ Pat Dwyer (Grumpy's NE) will be spinning between bands: Magic Castles, Unknown Prophets, The Mighty Mofos and Me and My Arrow.
November 13 brings back Becht, this time with Erik Anderson (Seachange) making food to pair with Fulton Beer and wines distributed by Grape Beginnings. Cake Eater Bakery will provide sweets. In between sets by Black Audience, Phantom Tails, Rude Girl, Marijuana Death Squads and Pink Mink, DJ Solid Gold will spin.
The usual Cancey's meat raffle will take place both nights--with other NE establishments offering raffle goods, as well.
