Fuddruckers returns to Bloomington
The Fuddruckers saga in Minnesota has more twists and turns than a Mexican telenovela, but the latest will please loyal fans: as of 11 a.m. today, the Bloomington location has re-opened as a legit Fuddruckers location.
Back in August the Bloomington restaurant morphed into R.J.'s Burgers after the restaurant chain terminated the management agreement with the location's operator Ralph Flannery. Kelly Pascal Gould, the Fudd's media contact, said the company reclaimed the restaurant (yes, they're hiring!) and began sizzling burgers in the popular Fuddruckers style today.
Pascal Gould also directed us to the October 2010 issue of Consumer Reports, which asked 28,000 readers to rate the best-tasting burgers. Fuddruckers landed a respectable third place, just below In-n-Out Burger and Five Guys.
So who is heading to Bloomington to get their Fudd's fix? As the only Fudd option in town, will you be rushing out to indulge in a one pound patty?
