Thomas Boemer has two of the toughest seats in town at Corner Table, the ever-evolving neighborhood bistro that's really a fine dining powerhouse at its core, and Revival, the if-I-have-to-tell-you-then-what-rock-have-you-been-hiding-under wildly beloved Nicollet Avenue fried chicken restaurant.

These are tough seats to get, people. So perk up and listen: Boemer is guest chef at the upcoming Gather by D'Amico event, Thursday, September 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Walker Art Center.

As always, attendees can meet and greet the chef, but more importantly sample complimentary menu items, which will then be available as semi-permanent, regular menu items for the remainder of the month.

Chef Boemer will be serving a BLT salad with heirloom tomatoes, sherry vinaigrette, brioche crouton, caramelized ham, and goat cheese fonduta as well as gnocchi al a Romana, trotter bolognese, and ricotta salata.

If the weather holds up, you can even eat it all outside.

Upcoming Gather chefs-in-residence:

October: Scott Foster, executive chef and managing partner of Nova Restaurant Group

November: Gavin Kaysen, chef/owner of Spoon and Stable

December: Gather By D’Amico’s own Josh Brown
