Flavor Flav wants to give Revival some fried chicken competition.

Look out, Revival. After weeks of swirling rumors and Flavor Flav sightings around the Twin Cities, the Public Enemy star has finally confirmed: He's in the Twin Cities to take care of business.

Fried chicken business.

He told the Current's Sean McPherson yesterday in a radio interview

"As everybody knows, I have a specialty called fried chicken, so I'm trying to bring some chicken to y'all's neighborhood. It's about to go down.... Once I put a restaurant up here, it's gonna kill 'em! We're about to have some fun. I'm gonna bring y'all some good chicken."

The rapper was involved in another fried chicken venture in 2011, with locations in a Detroit suburb and in Clinton, Iowa. Things did not end well. His Las Vegas restaurant House of Flavor also shuttered after a short six months.

But we live in hope! It sounds as though Flav is working with local business partners in the restaurant endeavor. No word yet on exactly where the restaurant will be located or opening dates, but we'll keep you posted on this very important news for chicken lovers and P.E. fans as it unfolds.
