Festival Roundup: Spring Egg Fests

Yes peeps, it's Spring! I know, as TS Eliot says "April is the cruellest month" [sic] what with the snow and what-nots we have had lately.

But what could be more fun than a Spring Egg Festival and Hunt, to get you in the mood for the impending sunshiney tulipy love-fest that is Spring in Minnesota? Bring the kids to Northwestern Health Science Center in Bloomington Saturday, April 11th for a barrel full of fun. Activities include: an candy-filled egg hunt, face painting, and a special prize awarded by the Bloomington Optimists Club for finding the "specially marked eggs." Or, if you are up for a road trip, check out Currie's Egg Festival at Lake Shetek State Park, also on Saturday the 11th.

Dear Spring,

We love you.

The People of Minnesota

By the way, how cool is it that Bloomington has an Optimists Club?
