Kingfield and Lyndale neighborhood restaurants including Anodyne, Butter, Victor's, and the Bryant-Lake Bowl are donating varying portion of today's proceeds to community art endeavors. Have you seen some of the cool, new murals on buildings around 38th and Nicollet? Eating for Art has gone toward that in the past.
Here's some specifics on this year's beneficiaries:
Proceeds from Eating for Art will be given to a new Family-Arts programming initiative at Leonardo's Basement supported by KFNA that is helping to build families' connections across our neighborhood, and encourage exploration and experimentation in the arts; and the Hosmer Music and Dance from Around the World Program, which is a partnership between LNA and Hosmer Library that brings free live music and dance programming to Hosmer Library and Painter Park.
This is Eating for Art's third year. Patronize, yo!
