The Midtown Greenway Coalition just announced its annual Progressive Dinner on the Greenway, a night filled with food, bikes, beer, and fun.

The group will start off with apps in Uptown at the Elan Uptown Apartments before riding over to Midtown for a pizza party. But this isn't just any pizza party... it's a backyard pizza oven party, perfect for celebrating the waning days of summer. Finally, riders can end the night with dessert and art in Seward at Vine Arts Center.

Some of the food provided throughout the evening will come from local favorites like Birchwood Cafe, Butter Bakery Cafe, Common Roots Cafe, and FIKA. And the ever-bike-friendly folks at New Belgium Brewery will supply beer for the over 21 cycling crowd.

Riders are encouraged to bike with a helmet and their lights, since the event spans from 4 p.m. until well after sunset at 9 p.m. on Sunday, September 15.

Register for the event early and get a few bucks knocked off the price of your ticket. Before September 10, riders can score tickets for $40. Afterwards, until September 13 until 12 p.m. when registration closes, tickets will be available for $45.
