Quick: What are your deepest, darkest desires for celebrating your next birthday?
Okay, not that dark.
But if you said some combination of donuts, booze, and The Simpsons, have we got news for you.
This is how Glam Doll Donuts is celebrating its second anniversary: They'll bring the donuts and Eat Street Social and Bittercube will bring the booze.
The event, on Friday, February 20, from 7 p.m. to midnight at Eat Street Social, is open to all ages, but if you want to drink, and we guess that you do, you must purchase a $10 wristband, which also buys your first drink and donut pairing. There are six tasty pairings to choose from.
What kinds of combos? Here's one the event masterminds shared with us:
Donut: The Krusty Burger. A Bismarck filled with ground beef and house-made cheese whiz, topped with bacon-quinoa crunch and tomato jam. Garnished with a real pickle and cherry tomato.
Cocktail: Flaming Moe. A flaming half lime comes as garnish to a Rhum Niesson Aleve Sous Bois Agricole, Smith & Cross lime, Filbert orgeat, E. S. S. orange liqueur, and Bittercube Jamaican #1 & #2 Bitters. Don't know what any of that means? Just know it's delicious.
If life is sad for you and you're unable to make the party, Glam Doll is featuring a different donut each week leading up to the event. This week it's the "Tomacco," filled with sweet tomato custard and rolled in smoked sugar with a creme fraiche topping.
Don't know what the hell "Tomacco" is? You're a Simpsons fail: It's the produce made by Homer when mixing tobacco and tomatoes after putting a plutonium rod in the ground near the tobacco and tomato plants. Duh.
CORRECTION: The party takes place at Glam Doll Donuts, not Eat Street Social. We apologize for the error.
