You've already made plans for Valentine's Day: Strong work! But how do you plan on stoking the fire beyond next week's steak-and-chocolate gorge fest?
Check out the D'Amico restaurant group's plans for a new "date night" promotion that will run every Sunday evening, beginning February 20, to encourage twosomes, romantic or otherwise, to connect over dinner. It's one of the best dining deals the Hot Dish has seen in a while--and there's even a chance for you to win it for free.
Here are the details:[jump]
Diners will be served a three-course dinner and a bottle of wine to share for the do-not-pass-this-up price of $50 per couple (not including tax or gratuity). The promotion will be available at all of D'Amico's full-service restaurants: Café Lurcat, MASA, Parma 8200, D'Amico Kitchen, and Campiello.
Diners can chose among a short selection of dishes for each course. The first-course choices at D'Amico Kitchen, for example, might include mussels or butternut squash pizza; Parma 8200 offers fried calamari, minestrone or salad. Lurcat's second courses include sautéed sea scallops, pork tenderloin, or steak, while the Campiello selection features sea bass, chicken, and beef.
For dessert, choices may include sorbet or cannoli at the Italian restaurants, while Masa will offer its famous churros. Wines include red, white, and sparkling, or a non-alcoholic beverage.
Even better, D'Amico will be giving away two $50 "D'Amico Date Night" gift cards each weekday until the 20th.
