Coup d'Etat owners plan new fast-casual restaurant in Lyn-Lake
Plans for the new Lime Apartments building
The owners of Coup d'Etat and Borough have a new concept eatery in the works. The restaurant, called Marché (French for "market"), is slated to open near Lake Street and Lyndale Avenue in the six-story, 171-unit Lime Apartment building in late May or early June.
Marché will be the fourth restaurant opened by Brent Frederick and Jacob Toledo and their company, Jester Concepts LLC, according to a report in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal on Tuesday. The duo also own Borough in the North Loop, Coup d'Etat in Uptown, and Maple Tavern in Maple Grove.
According to the liquor license proposal issued on April 9, Marché will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and will seat no more than 50 people indoors and 56 on the patio.
Marché will be a fast-casual café with a bar, as well as dining in and take-out options. The menu will feature breakfast sandwiches, bagels, paninis, salads, soups, and baked goods, the Business Journal reports.
"Marché plans to appeal to the residents of the Lime Apartments as a separate amenity for them while also appealing to the outside public," Jester Concepts LLC wrote in the business plan.
