Coming soon: Vescio's Trattoria
Vescio's is opening a new lunch spot in the Skyway in downtown Minneapolis in the next few weeks the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal reports. The new location, in the Six Quebec building at Marquette and 6th, will be called Vescio's Trattoria. The space was formerly occupied by another Italian restaurant, Cafe di Napoli. The restaurant joins two other metro-area Vescio's -- one in Dinkytown and the other in St. Louis Park -- both known for their large, family-style portions. According to the Journal:
The menu will include a variety of prepared, ready to go salads, soups and sandwiches. It will also have a pasta bar. Most meals will run between $4 and $7 ...
The downtown location will incorporate some of what the family has learned over the years with its booth at the Minnesota State Fair, as well as trying out new items such as flat-bread pizza, [manager Fred Vescio] said.
