New stores are coming soon, but you'll have to wait a little longer
Despite rumors circulating that the opening of a handful of new Chick-fil-A locations in Minnesota have been bumped up to this week, reps from the company confirmed via email they are actually on track to open to the public this fall.
Here's more on the what might have stirred the pot and which 'burbs are getting stores, if you're into that sort of thing.
A publicist from the fast-food chain says that the first two of the four new Twin Cities locations will be in Coon Rapids and Maple Grove and are projected to open October 10. Stores in Apple Valley and Bloomington are projected for late October and November, respectively.
What sparked the confusion was the announcement that Chick-fil-A would be hosting some local community events to help promote the opening of the new stores. The first presentation is tonight in Apple Valley
at Johnny Cake Ridge Park.
These four stores are the first of ten that the chain is planning to eventually open in our local market over the span of the next three to five years. Though most of those locations will be in the Twin Cities metro area, the company says they are looking to go to Duluth, St. Cloud, and Rochester too.
