Carmine's brings more Italian fare to Woodbury
The former home of Chickadee Cottage in Woodbury has been reborn as an Italian joint called Carmine's.
The Pioneer Press reports that owner Brenda Hafiz is a first time restaurateur, but her husband, Richard, is an owner of Deja Vu, Gay 90's, and Sneaky Pete's, and her son James, the restaurant's chef, is a veteran of Kincaid's and the Capital Grille, among other restaurants.
The menu includes such Italian-American mainstays as minestrone, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, bruschetta, and hot dagos. There are also 16 beers on tap and a wine list that spans the globe.
