Cajun 2 Geaux to host pop-up dinners around the Twin Cities
The team behind Cajun 2 Geaux's food truck is going in another direction
Pop-up dining has become one of the most popular ways to get chic cuisine in a fun locale, and Cajun 2 Geaux has hopped on the bandwagon. The team behind the local food truck will host a series of pop-up dinners around the Twin Cities starting this October.
While Cajun 2 Geaux has won acclaim for their spicy Cajun eats, they're leaving the food truck and the Bayou behind for this pop-up event series dubbed the Social Table dinners. The dishes won't necessarily be Cajun, but they'll be infused with chef Tim Glover's signature New Orleans flair.
Glover plans to whip up several meals at different locations around the metro, each featuring five courses that will change depending on the venue. Glover also hopes to have some guest chefs drop by to show off their skills as well.
612 Brew will host the first of the Social Table dinners on Tuesday, October 8. The event time has not been listed.
Cajun 2 Geaux just tweeted about securing November's Social Table location -- the Landmark Center in St. Paul.
The rest of the locations have yet to be announced.
We hope there will be at least one occasion to get their sweet, sweet beignets at these events... otherwise, we'll probably just have to make another trip to their truck in the meantime.
