A nice bit of holiday season generosity from a local business: Holy Land is now donating 25 cents to the charity of your choice for every package of hummus, dip, or salad you purchase. According to the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal:
Customers can give coupons to their favorite nonprofit, which in turn can return them to Holy Land for a check in the amount the organization has collected.
That poses a slight catch -- many would probably just prefer that 25 cents of the purchase price went to a charity -- but for all you conscientious coupon collectors out there, it shouldn't pose much of a glitch.
You can buy Holy Land products at many area supermarkets or at one of its two shops. Holy Land already donates five percent of all its revenues to charity the Journal says.
