Hit up Butcher & the Boar this Sunday for their first ever crawfish boil
It's time again for Butcher & the Boar's monthly beer bash, but in an event that's true to form, they'll be ramping up the festivities for this coming Sunday. Chef Jack Riebel and friends will be putting together Butcher & the Boar's first-ever crawfish boil featuring locally caught crawdads, beer from Louisiana's Abita Brewing Company, live music from Davina and the Vagabonds, and in an extra-special attempt to make sure that things don't get boring, the dudes from Travail will also be hand participating in the festivities.
The announcement on Butcher & the Boar's website declares:
"Locally caught Crawdads? Check! Freshly tapped Abita Beer? Check! Live music from Davina and The Vagabonds? Check! Pop up food booth by our friends at Travail Kitchen and Amusements? CHECK! This Sunday the 21st, come join the B&TB crew in our Beer Garden for what's shaping up to be one of our zaniest Beer Bash events yet!"
This event has definitely got our attention, and it's hard to think of a better way to spend a Sunday evening than in the B&TB beer garden. In addition to the bounty of decedent crawfish, we're really excited to see what the Travail folks have up their sleeves. Either way, with an event like this it's hard to go wrong.
If you check out the B&TB website
, you can actually watch a video of chef Riebel out with some buddies on what looks to be a pretty serious crawdadding adventure rounding up a mess of the little critters for Sunday's event.
The event will take place in B&B's beer garden and will run from 3 - 11 p.m. and is free to attend.
