Anodyne Coffeehouse, a neighborhood favorite for coffee-lovers, vegans, vegetarians, and Kingfield denizens, will serve its last cup of joe and its final bowl of fancy oatmeal on June 29.

The coffee shop and restaurant posted the news on its Facebook page this morning.
"It's just time to move on, that's all," says owner Theresa Cook. "I've owned it for 17 years. It's been fabulous, and I've enjoyed every day of it. I sold the business and someone else is going to come in and sell coffee. We just wanted to make sure we had time to say goodbye to people."
That other coffee business moving in is none other than Uptown favorite Bull Run Coffee. This will be the second location for Bull Run, which opened its first location at 34th and Lyndale in 2011 and is currently in the process of expanding. And if you're already fretting about where to get your breakfast scrambles, waffles, and vegan burritos, Brent Ringate of Bull Run says they'll be keeping the Anodyne menu when the shop changes hands.
