  It's been another week full of the finest of food and drink news. Here's all the latest.

~Believe it or not, the State Fair is right around the bend; fInd out which local brews will be on tap; get the scoop on Andrew Zimmern's new food truck; and hear more about the events hosted by Minnesota Cooks.

~We toured and reviewed Fika in the Swedish American Institute, where the speciality of the house is small plates and smorgasbord-style open-faced sandwiches. (And in case you missed it, here is more on the new Nordic food movement.)

~Minneapolis will soon welcome two new venues as Origami and Republic unveil plans for their latest locations.
