Lee's Liquor Lounge has been up for sale since 2012, and when word of it hit the streets, cheap liquor lovers lost it. The famous dive has been quietly on the market for all these many years, and finally there is a taker.
And no, it's not being turned into a condo.
According to the Mpls./ St. Paul Business Journal, longtime regular Craig Kruckeberg will purchase the 40-year-old watering hole.
He is reported as saying he won't change much of anything at all, except that he will begin to accept credit cards, build a patio, and add some staff as well as make more marketing efforts.
