Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride, Lucid at Uptown Tavern, and more this weekend
The beer events get moving early this weekend. Beer Dabbler's Pride event takes place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Loring Park, where 25 local breweries and 25 food trucks will celebrate Twin Cities Pride Week. Try new start-ups like Tin Whiskers and Bauhaus Brew Labs (first public tasting) alongside more established veterans and see how they compare, all while enjoying live music and activities.
In Uptown, Lucid is taking over the taps at the Uptown Tavern & Rooftop. They'll pour Air, Foto, Silo, and Dyno and have drawings and giveaways for varied merchandise. Across the river, Sweeney's is hosting Sierra Nevada Brewery Night. Southern Hemisphere fresh hop ale will be on tap.
Brew lovers can run off some of those calories in Rosemount on Saturday at Rudy's Redeye Grill 5K Firkin Fest and then sample craft firkins and roast pig all day long in the name of charity. Heading west, Cold Spring's Third Street Brewhouse is throwing a second anniversary party on Saturday.
In food trucks, Asian Invasion will be at Surly on Friday, followed by Scratch Food Truck on Saturday. Fulton hosts O'Cheez (Friday) and Red Pig & Truffle (Saturday). Harriet features Café Racer (Friday) and Potter's Pasties (Saturday).
