    ​Police got to the scene of a shooting in south Minneapolis last night in time to keep the victim alive long enough for an an ambulance ride to Hennepin County Medical Center, but he died this morning. The medical examiner's office hasn't made the victim's name public yet.

    ​Jeremee Jon Kraskey became the third Minneapolis homicide victim of 2011 when police found his body early Saturday morning in a back yard less than a block from Powderhorn Park. He died of multiple gun shot wounds, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
