This stirring and passionate drama has played to standing room only audiences across the U.S. and is based on the true story of Edith Stein, a prominent Jewish intellectual turned Catholic nun during the lead up to Hitler's reign of terror. She was eventually martyred at Auschwitz in 1942. "Edith Stein" the play tells her story with a rich understanding of this remarkable woman and her heroic stand against the greatest evil of her time. It's a play about the power of faith, family, religious tolerance, mutual respect, and the remarkable triumph of the human spirit against all odds. (Two Act play with intermission. Runtime approx. 110 min)
