This Saturday, beer and bike party Tour de Fat returns to Loring Park with activities for all ages. The festival kicks off with a bike parade, where folks with art bikes and colorful costumes will ride through downtown Minneapolis. After that, kids can have fun as they bike in the corral. Meanwhile adults can enjoy brews from New Belgium, such as the Fat Tire beer this shindig is named after. Entertainment throughout the day includes live music from Black Joe Lewis, Vaudeville-style performances, and the yearly car-to-bike trade, where a car commuter donates a gas-guzzling vehicle in exchange for a sweet, two-wheel ride.
