While Shakespeare in the park is a tried and true summertime tradition, dance in the park is another type of beloved happening for those who seek free outdoor entertainment during warmer months. This weekend, the 13th annual Dances at the Lakes Festival returns for two nights of performance from a variety of choreographers, dance troupes, and students. Participants include talents from both Minnesota and California such as Christopher Watson Dance Company, Ballet Arts Youth Ensemble, Ballare Teatro Performing Arts Center, Kinetic Evolutions, Anda Flamenco, and Marco Carreon from Los Angeles.
