Summer is not just the season of outdoor festivals and grilling. It's also a time when runners train for big races and marathons. But before you tackle something major like Grandma's Marathon, how about partaking in something that is purely for fun? The MN Brewery Running Series is just that. Competition is nil at these events, as participants are welcome to run, jog, speed walk, or casually stroll the 5K. Regardless of their time, they will be greeted with a pint glass and a choice of beer as their reward. Runs range in views from pastoral to neighborhood to urban in areas such as south and northeast Minneapolis, downtown Twin Cities, St. Anthony Main, and more. The run typically ends at a brewery, and finish lines includes Harriet Brewing, Northgate Brewing, Day Block Brewing Co., Surley Brewing Co., and Dangerous Man Brewing Co.
