Nada. Zero. Nothing. For Minneapolis artist Jody Williams, such synonyms define her photographs: images without subjects, objects, or focal points. She realized this while sorting through decades of work, discovering not the concrete but the ephemeral, the shadowy, the disappearing. Her new exhibition includes artists' books, prints, and collages that consciously explore the realms of the empty, and there are several: vast expanses of sand or vegetation, holes holding nothing, twilight realms between darkness and light.
