Corner Table's beloved chef Scott Pampuch will cook up an eco-eater's delight in this New Year's Eve edition of the foodie event known as Tour de Farm. For a flat fee (plus tax), revelers get a round-trip bus ride to Star Thrower Farm in McLeod County, Minnesota, home to over 350 Icelandic sheep and lambs and a repast full of tasty sustainable dishes and refreshments. The bus leaves Corner Table at 5:30 p.m. for the hour-plus ride. Upon arrival, guests will tour the cheese-making facility and begin the imbibing of warm beverages. Then guests are herded into a barn for a feast made entirely from ingredients grown or produced within 100 miles of the site. Chef Pampuch promises the fall flavors of tomato marmalades and jams, roasted pumpkin, and Brussels sprouts, along with some uber-local lamb and cheese from Star Thrower's proprietors, Scott and Deborah Pikovsky. The entire shindig will see farm-to-table fanatics into the New Year, as the plan is to wrap up at around 1 a.m. in the country.
