So what is a Minnesota artist? Is there such thing as a Minnesotan arts identity? In "Minnesota's Identity and the Arts," an event hosted by the Minneapolis Arts Commission, Works Progress, and Intermedia Arts, local art personality Andy Sturdevant will be jamming with folks from the scene about place, culture, and personal experience. The Minneapolis Arts Commission has hosted similar events in past years, and the style falls in line with other programs offered by Works Progress, including Give and Take and Salon Saloon, which engage local creatives in discussion, allowing time for presentations and audience interaction.
