We are fast approaching the time of the year in which the moon is at its brightest. In China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam, families traditionally get together to mark the event: The full moon is considered to be lucky, as well as a symbol of peace and harmony. Though it is not scheduled to be full this weekend, guests can celebrate anyway at this family-friendly festival put together by the Landmark Center. Children are invited to create miniature storybooks and lanterns, as well as listen to storytelling about the traditional holiday.
