December 1st marks World AIDS Day and there are plenty of events around the Twin Cities to raise awareness and remember victims of the disease.
There are plenty of opportunities this evening to partake in the day's events.
Since 1981, AIDS has killed more than 25 million people. About 33 million people worldwide live with HIV, which makes it one of the world's most deadly epidemics in history.
