There's no ID yet on a woman who was seen jumping from the Hennepin Avenue Bridge into the Mississippi River on Thursday.
Her body was seen passing through the river's spillways and falls before DNR officer Thor Nelson was able to intercept. Police, fire and DNR officers all participated in the recovery effort from West River Parkway.
Minneapolis police spokesman Sgt. Jesse Garcia told the Minnesota Daily the woman's death is being classified as a suicide.
