Window-smashing RNC protester gets 30 days in jail

The man responsible for smashing the Macy's store window in St. Paul during the Republican National Convention was sentenced Thursday to 30 days in jail.

Glenn David Dyer of New York pleaded guilty March 27 to first-degree criminal damage to property. He admitted to breaking the window with a hammer while protesting the RNC.

While Dyer admitted his actions were "reprehensible," he still kept his protesting charm alive. As we was escorted to a jail holding cell, he winked at his supporters in the courtroom.

And how much does he owe for the window damage About $2,700, says the prosecutor. All in the name of hating politicians. Gotta love America.
