Wild acquire philosopher-goalie Ilya Bryzgalov [VIDEOS]
Bryzgalov: "The solar system is so huMANgous big."
Today, the surging Minnesota Wild acquired some goaltending insurance by acquiring 33-year-old Russian veteran Ilya Bryzgalov for a fourth-round pick.

Bryzgalov will probably be slotted behind Darcy Kuemper on the goalie depth chart, but as evidenced by a 2011 HBO documentary, he immediately becomes the team's foremost philosopher.
Check it out (the deep stuff begins about 1:40 in):
"The solar system is so humungous big, right? But if you see our solar system and our galaxy on the side, we're so small, you can't even see it... And you think, we have some problems here on the earth that we worry about? Compared to like... [it's] nothing, just, be happy, don't worry, be happy right now."
That's really smart, right? In fact, between that and his love of obscure Russian liquor, we can't think of too many local folks we'd rather grab a drink with.
