Whose fault is it, anyway?
As regular readers of conservative Minnesota political blogs know, crime in Minneapolis is the fault of two people: Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. It is through their rank incompetence and pathological insistence on coddling evil-doers that the once docile Mill City has been transformed into a post-apocalyptic hellhole where only the reckless, the hopeless, or the depraved dare to tread. (Or people who want to eat tasty food, get a college education, and enjoy parks, but of course that's entirely irrelevant).
However, there is one question left for all these intrepid amateur criminologists of the blogosphere to answer: How to connect the dots between RT, Klobuchar and the sky-rocketing increase violent crime in Duluth, which, according to the the latest numbers, exceeds that of the ruined city of Minneapolis? No doubt, the proprietors of such shoutfest sites as Rambix and the Red Star, MDE, and Kennedy vs. the Machine probably can do it. But I must confess I am struggling to come up a satisfying explanation--except, of course, for the notion that all problems in the known universe are the fault of the Minnesota DFL.
