Authorities seeking baby grave robber Someone overnight dug up a western Wisconsin grave and stole the body, according to investigators. The Barron County Sheriff's Office was called to a damaged gravesite at Bandli Park Cemetery at 11:13 a.m. Deputies discovered a marked grave had been dug up and the remains were taken.
Fed up with campaign calls? Take it out on the disabled! APPLETON — An Appleton man who said he had enough of political phone calls from the Republican Party is accused of taking it out on a campaign volunteer at the party's local headquarters. David Benjamin Porter, 57, is facing misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and battery after he was accused of pushing the disabled volunteer Monday.
MySpace allows older ladies to connect with cute 13-year-old boys OSHKOSH — An Oshkosh woman has been sentenced to eight years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy. The criminal complaint said a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper pulled over a speeding vehicle on U.S. 41 in Neenah and found the boy at the wheel. The complaint said Cantrall told the trooper she was the boy's mother and was teaching him to drive. Cantrall later told officers the two communicated on the social networking site MySpace, and she knew the relationship was wrong, but "she loved him very much and cared for him a lot."
10th DWI is the charm? WAUKESHA — A Fitchburg man stopped in Waukesha County has been charged with his 10th drunken driving offense. Court records show Brian Britz, 51, has been convicted nine times since 1987. He was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for his ninth conviction.
You can have have him, Wisconsin LA CROSSE — State and local authorities have busted a Minnesota man suspected of conspiring to deliver $100,000 worth of marijuana. Monroe County Sheriff Dennis Pedersen says the case began about a week ago when a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper made a traffic stop in Monroe County and marijuana was found in the man's vehicle. Investigators seized 25 pounds of marijuana, $30,000 cash and three vehicles.
