My God, that was bad.
Last night, the Vikings offense was a dumpster fire of epic proportions, with new quarterback Josh Freeman putting forth a time capsule-worthy display of inaccurate passing ("20 for 53" could become the new "41 Donut") during the Purple's pathetic 23-7 loss to the Giants.
MORE COACHING PLEASE: Sure sounds like Spielman told Josh Freeman what to say during QB's introductory interview
It was so terribly ridiculously awful, it was masochistically entertaining. And you know what else was entertaining? Watching people on Twitter rip Freeman, Frazier, Spielman, Zygi, Dennis Green, Mike Tice, Red McCombs, Bud Grant, the cheerleaders, and everyone else associated with the Vikings franchise during and after the game. In fact, it was so entertaining and the tweets were so voluminous that we're doubling the length of our tried and true "Top 10 tweets" format for this one, and it was still hard to choose just 20.
So, without further ado, below the jump are the funniest tweets we saw ripping the Purple.
