Ventura for governor again? Probably not, but he'll have influence
With as many as 50 Republican and Democratic candidates considering or planning a run for Minnesota's gubernatorial seat in 2010, anything could happen. Even another run by our favorite former governor-turned-surfer Jesse Ventura.
Although his chances of running again are slim (he decided against running in the U.S. Senate race last year), Independence Party leader Dean Barkley says he plans to have Ventura involved in the 2010 race to make sure their party has a strong and recognizable candidate in the pool.
