Twitter Hacked in malicious Denial of Service Attack: The Mother of All Fail Whales
Have you been feverishly visiting www.twitter.com this morning and wondering why you were experiencing the Mother of All Fail Whales? So were we. Turns out, the bird got hacked this morning.
Will she ever tweet again? And will her song sound so sweet?
Twitter co founder Biz Stone: "We are currently defending against a Denial of Service attack on this otherwise happy Thursday morning. Attacks such as this are malicious efforts orchestrated to disrupt and make unavailable services such as online banks, credit card payment gateways, and in this case, Twitter for intended customers or users. As I said, we are defending against this attack now and we'll continue to update our status blog as we continue to defend and later."
In the mean time, this might be a good time to catch up on being productive.
