The moment Twins fans have been waiting for since 2012 finally came Sunday. Byron Buxton, aka the 21-year-old phenom guaranteed to usher the team into an epoch of greatness (no pressure), played his first major-league game Sunday in Arlington, Texas.
Will the five-tool prospect, one of baseball's most ballyhooed stars in waiting, live up to the hype? Dunno. He sure does run fast. But more importantly, we learned that Buxton family men have awesome hair.

The rookie outfielder may have gone hit-less in the stat sheet in his first game, but his son's hairstyle was crushing it. During the game, a Fox Sports North reporter paid Buxton's fiancee Lindsey Tillery and son Brixton a visit in the stands, exposing the 1-year-old's follicle greatness. Sports blog the Cauldron tweeted a pic from the exchange, capturing Brix with a little bit of a Cosmo Kramer thing happening, which he totally pulls off.
While we'll give the edge to Brix's wavy mane, his old man also showed up in the bigs sporting a splashy, two-toned hairdo.

The Buxton hairstyles will presumably make their Target Field debut Wednesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
