Tough choices: Minn. lawmakers can take pay cut to save state

We know too many people who have had their salary reduced, but it's never by choice. When you can barely make ends meet, why would you choose to take in less money?

For the good of Minnesota of course. With the state's budget deficit estimated to hit up to $7 billion, the state Senate majority leader is telling lawmakers they can cut their own salary to help pay down the debt and potentially avoid some budget cuts this year.

How's that for a predicament?
