Timothy Carson, ex Minneapolis cop, admits to more robberies
When we first heard about Timothy Carson, it was for a story that had an irresistible headline: Minneapolis SWAT cop arrested in suburban bank robbery. But as his story has progressed, and the charges against Carson have piled up, the man's story looks increasingly complicated and dark: The Rosemount man is now charged with seven new crimes, for a total of 13. The complaint says Carson, married with two kids, and a Marine veteran, committed the robberies and attempted robberies to help pay bills.
