Tim Pawlenty to host Michele Bachmann, Erik Paulsen, John Kline at preppy DC bar
The Hill reports that Gov. Tim Pawlenty will be hosting U.S. Reps. Michele Bachmann, Erik Paulsen, and John Kline -- Republicans one and all -- on Friday at "one of Georgetown's preppiest bars," Gin and Tonic. It's a place popular with a "cute, young, preppy crowd that lines up around the block from Thursday to Saturday nights.
An after-party sponsored by the Conservative Political Action Committee will follow, according to The Hill. The right wing organization's annual convention gets under way on Friday, and both Pawlenty and Bachmann are featured speakers.
Maybe on Thursday night T-Paw can explain to Bachmann over a cold beer why he says Barack Obama isn't a socialist.
