Star Tribune silent on its own pending demise

The Star Tribune's business page is awash in layoffs and businesses failing:

Andersen cuts 50 jobs, lays off 400

Macy's to close at Brookdale

Alliant cutting back up to 80 in Anoka

500 agree to buyouts at Best Buy

But there's one major local business' impending failure that the Strib remains strangely silent on: Its own.

As David Brauer points out, for a brief moment there was a story on the Star Tribune's website acknowledging that the union has rejected concessions, leading to a probably bankruptcy later this month. Then it disappeared. You can see the evidence here.
