Someone stole baby Jesus, safe rides donor busted for drunk driving

Wild week in Wisconsin. We've got baby Jesus snatchers, guys filming their naked girlfriends and Amish farmers being charged for unregistered animals. A New Year's resolution for our kind state to the east: Fix your residents.

MADISON -- A Wisconsin appeals court says people do not automatically have the right to videotape others who are naked in their presence. The 4th District Court of Appeals ruling comes in the case of a former Waunakee High School chemistry teacher who videotaped his girlfriend while she was naked and also while they were having sex. He argued that she agreed to be naked around him, therefore she had no expectation of privacy.

Who stole baby Jesus?
LA CROSSE -- Police say a man stole the baby Jesus figurine from the nativity scene at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center. Staff in the emergency room say they saw a man take the baby, get into a white car and leave. The hospital is hoping that man has a change of heart and returns the figurine to the ER, which is open 24/7.

EAU CLAIRE -- An Amish farmer who failed to register his livestock is being taken to court in Wisconsin for the first time. The Country Today reports that 28-year-old Emanuel Miller Jr. of Loyal has been charged with a civil forfeiture for failure to comply with the state livestock premises registration law. He faces a fine of up to $5,000.

OCONOMOWOC - A used car dealer who donated a minivan for a free shuttle service to stem drunken driving has been charged with operating while under the influence. The Waukesha County district attorney's office says the 47-year-old businessman was driving a sport utility vehicle bearing the logo for the safe rides program known as LIMOS.

EAU CLAIRE - Eau Claire police say a man accused of stealing a soda worth $1.57 chose to go to jail rather than pay up, even though he was carrying more than $70. Police responding to the report of a theft recently say the 27-year-old Altoona man appeared drunk. An employee told officers the man had taken a cup from the counter, filled it and began drinking.
