Soldiers to Minnesota: Give us jerky!

out of Rochester is reporting on "Operation Hometown Gratitude," a project whereby local high school students assemble care packages for soldiers stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, the students need some assistance from hunters to fulfill one popular request: jerky! Area hunters are being asked to donate some of their

cuts, and

Ye Olde Butcher Shop

is donating up to three smokehouse loads of jerky processing for the project. Hunters are being asked to contact the butcher shop for more information on how they can donate.
