Shabar Hildebran identified as homicide victim
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has identified 19-year-old Shabar Hildebran as the victim of a homicide in north Minneapolis early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, police responded to shots fired on the 2500 block of Logan Avenue North. When cops entered the house, they found Hildebran and another young man, also with a gunshot wound.
Hildebran was declared dead on arrival, and the survivor was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Hildebran's murder is the 24th homicide in Minneapolis this year.
No arrests have been made in the case, and police are taking any useful information on the shootings at the TIPS line, 612-692-8477.
