Seven charged in St. Paul murder

Seven people have been charged in the street fight that left 20-year-old Tai Yang dead outside the Moonlight Magic bar in St. Paul on Sunday.

The following people, who are all from St. Paul, have been charged with aiding and abetting an unintentional second-degree murder:

Nou Chang, 22
Thai Chang, 22
Kou Thao, 19
Michelle Vue, 26
Keng Xiong, 23
Chue Yang, 23
Teng Yang, 23

The charge carries with it a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison. Seven people have been charged because Yang, the victim of this weekend's street fight, was beaten to death.

Yang belonged to the Asian Bloods and clashed with members of other gangs on Sunday, according to the criminal complaint. About 10 members of The White Tigers and G-Loc gangs were outside the bar. Yang "punched one of the homies" of the rival gang members, and a group then assaulted him, the complaint states.

A group of men and one woman kicked him. Witnesses said that the woman, Michelle Vue, stomped on Yang three or four times.

By the time that St. Paul police arrived to the scene, Yang was dead, according to the criminal complaint. His head and face were bruised, swollen, and covered with blood.

Two other men were shot.
